Every summer, the Blois-Chambord destination comes alive with an exceptional cultural program. L'Été de Blois-Chambord brings together over 200 events from late June to mid-September, offering a variety of shows and activities that delight all audiences. Supported by the Blois-Chambord Tourist Office and the City of Blois, this flagship summer event transforms the region into a true open-air festival.
The centerpiece of the summer program, the Des Lyres d'été festival, offers concerts, theatre, street performances, and open-air cinema screenings in Blois's most iconic locations. The Wednesday evening guinguettes offer dancing evenings with varied atmospheres—rock, jazz, world music, electro—by the Loire. In August, the L'Écho du Caquetoire festival highlights street arts with circus, theatre, and dance companies taking over the city's squares and streets.
Every day of the summer, guided tours of the city of Blois offer a different theme: history, architecture, gastronomy, anecdotes, urban nature. Nature outings allow you to discover the banks of the Loire by boat, observe wildlife with naturalist guides, or cycle along the paths.
