2024 Edition: Rural Traditions Meet
The 2024 edition of the Fête de la Moisson was held on August 3rd and 4th in Lançon, continuing the tradition of this event which has become a must-attend for lovers of Ardennes rural heritage. The volunteers of La Seconde Vie du Matériel once again brought the harvests of yesteryear to life with demonstrations of threshing, scything, and old-fashioned plowing.
The exhibition of tractors and agricultural machinery from the 1930s to the 1970s attracted many enthusiasts, while the Ardennes horses provided the spectacle during the plowing demonstrations. The rustic catering and village atmosphere completed this day of discovery of rural heritage, delighting families and curious visitors from across the department.
