Ivry en fête: the Fête de la Musique, popular and festive version

In Ivry-sur-Seine, the Fête de la Musique is not limited to June 21st: it extends over two full days under the name "Ivry en fête". This popular event, one of the most important in the Val-de-Marne, transforms the esplanade of the Hôtel de Ville into a festive and cultural space accessible to all, free of charge.

Free headline concerts

One of the specificities of Ivry en fête is inviting national artists for completely free concerts. In 2025, the lineup featured:

  • Médine (Saturday), one of the most committed rappers on the French scene, author of political and poetic lyrics recognized for their strength and social relevance
  • Jok'Air (Saturday), a rapper from Lyon with a powerful flow and impactful lyrics, from the new generation of French rap
  • Vitaa (Sunday), an R&B and pop artist whose collaborations have marked the French music scene in recent years

These artists perform on the main stage of the esplanade before a large and enthusiastic audience, in the spirit of cultural democratization that characterizes the city of Ivry-sur-Seine.

The youth stage and world music

Alongside the main stage, a youth stage gives a voice to emerging artists and local associations. On Saturday from 3 PM to 6 PM and Sunday from 1:30 PM to 4 PM, this stage hosts concerts of rock, hip-hop, afro-trap, jazz, pop, and many other styles, reflecting the musical diversity of Ivry's youth.

From 2 PM to 6 PM, the community stage offers dance and world music performances, sports demonstrations, and associative activities presented by the many cultural and sports associations in the city.

Over 100 activities for all ages

Ivry en fête is also much more than music. The esplanade transforms into a real festival village with:

  • Inflatable structures for the little ones
  • A Unicef exhibition on access to water worldwide
  • A green workshop with gardening initiation
  • A cultural village where you can buy books and CDs from the media library and discover Ivry's cultural venues
  • Stands from local associations, food tasting, and information
