Every year on June 21st, Belfort transforms into an open-air music stage for the Fête de la Musique. Created in 1982 by the Ministry of Culture, this national celebration takes on a particularly festive dimension in Belfort, a city with a strong musical tradition thanks to events like the Eurockéennes and the FIMU. Around forty free concerts fill the streets, squares, and venues of the city for an unforgettable evening.

The Fête de la Musique program in Belfort unfolds in various locations:

• Kiosque à musique (Place d'Armes): Rock, funk, pop, and techno for a family audience in the heart of the city
• Hôtel de Ville (Cour d'Honneur): Jazz, French chanson, and world music in a remarkable architectural setting
• La Poudrière: An iconic concert venue hosting up to 26 artists and bands on 2 stages, featuring rock, metal, rap, and DJ sets
• Salle des Fêtes: Folk dances and line dances for tradition enthusiasts
