The National Holiday in Noisy-le-Grand: A Popular Evening at Parc de l'Orangerie

Every July 13th evening, the town of Noisy-le-Grand (93160) offers its residents a festive and republican evening in the bucolic setting of Parc de l'Orangerie. Starting at 7:30 PM, the Orangerie bandstand and its surroundings transform into a popular party space combining conviviality, live music, and pyrotechnic shows.

The program is rich and varied to satisfy all audiences: kermesse games for young and old, a popular ball, a live concert by the group YOE, followed by the traditional torchlight procession at 10 PM, which precedes the grand fireworks display at 11 PM. This pyrotechnic show, launched from the park, illuminates the Noisy sky under the cheers of the crowd gathered on the lawns and paths of the Orangerie.

The Firefighters' Ball at the Town Hall Garden

In addition to the festivities at Parc de l'Orangerie, the traditional firefighters' ball is held at the Jardin de l'Hôtel de Ville, at 5 rue Léon Bernard, from 7 PM to 2 AM. This ball is free and open to all, with on-site catering. Children under 6 enter for free. This tradition of firefighters' balls, dating back to the Third Republic, is one of the highlights of July 14th throughout France, and Noisy-le-Grand proudly perpetuates this beautiful popular tradition.

Noisy-le-Grand, Town of Marnois and Noiséens

Noisy-le-Grand is a town of 67,000 inhabitants, located on the border of Seine-Saint-Denis and Seine-et-Marne. It is known for its bold contemporary architecture—notably the famous Espaces d'Abraxas by Ricardo Bofill—and for its generous green spaces, making it one of the greenest towns in the eastern Parisian suburbs.

Parc de l'Orangerie, with its large lawns, ancient trees, and bandstand, is one of the favorite places for walks and social gatherings for the residents of Noisy. It hosts sports, cultural, and festive events throughout the year. The National Holiday is one of the most anticipated events, bringing together families from all over the town and neighboring municipalities to share a moment of joy and republican fraternity.
