Games, open-air cinema, popular ball and fireworks at the esplanade de la Bièvre
The town of L'Haÿ-les-Roses offers an exceptional festive program for July 14th: fairground games, open-air cinema, popular ball, and fireworks on the esplanade de la Bièvre. One of the most complete National Celebrations in Val-de-Marne, in a town famous for its rose garden.
Every July 13th or 14th, the town of L'Haÿ-les-Roses (94240) offers one of the most complete National Celebration programs in Val-de-Marne. On the esplanade de la Bièvre, the town transforms this open space into a true festive village that welcomes residents of all ages for an unforgettable evening.
The particularity of the National Celebration of L'Haÿ-les-Roses is the diversity of its program, which begins in the afternoon and ends with fireworks in the evening.
From 4 PM, fairground games and inflatable structures welcome children on the esplanade. Rides, trampolines, bouncy castles, skill games: the youngest ones find plenty to enjoy in the hours leading up to the main event. It's a moment of pure joy and laughter that creates the festive atmosphere from the beginning of the evening.
At 5:30 PM, an open-air cinema screening offers a popular family film. In 2025, the film Astérix et Obélix : L'Empire du Milieu was shown, bringing together young and old around a humorous and colorful adventure. This film programming is a real originality compared to other National Celebrations in the department.
From 7 PM, a musical atmosphere and a grand popular ball liven up the esplanade. DJs and musicians take turns to offer a varied selection of dance music, combining French variety, international hits, and world music. The dance floor fills up quickly, and the atmosphere builds up to the fireworks.
At 11 PM, the pyromelodic fireworks display concludes the evening in general amazement. Visible from the esplanade de la Bièvre and the many elevated points in the town, this nocturnal show illuminates the sky of L'Haÿ-les-Roses in a cascade of colors and carefully choreographed effects. It is the moment everyone awaits, the climax of this long festive evening.
L'Haÿ-les-Roses owes its fame to the Roseraie du Val-de-Marne, one of the most beautiful and oldest rose gardens in the world, which preserves over 13,000 rose bushes and 4,000 varieties. Founded in 1894 by Jules Gravereaux, it is open to the public from May to September. The town also has the École Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay within its territory and plays a key role in the attractiveness of the southern Val-de-Marne.
The National Celebration reflects the town's ambition: to offer its 30,000 inhabitants quality events, accessible free of charge, which strengthen the sense of belonging to a dynamic and supportive community.
The 2026 National Celebration in L'Haÿ-les-Roses will be held on the esplanade de la Bièvre with fairground games, open-air cinema, popular ball, and fireworks. Program to be confirmed.
