Grand medieval feast at the foot of Bressieux castle
The Great Medieval Feast and Market of Bressieux Castle is a festive event that takes place every summer at the foot of the majestic ruins of the 13th-century fortress. For two days in July, about thirty medieval artisans set up their stalls offering costumes, jewelry, leather goods, and items inspired by the Middle Ages. Street performances, the procession of the Dragon Gonraad and his dragon warriors, combat demonstrations, music, a medieval banquet, and activities for children punctuate a timeless weekend that delights families and history enthusiasts.
Every summer, the imposing ruins of the Bressieux Castle, a former 13th-century fortress classified as a historic monument, serve as the backdrop for one of the most beautiful medieval festivals in Isère.
