The international surf film festival in Anglet
Founded in 2004 by Bruno Delaye, the International Surf Film Festival of Anglet is the largest surf film festival in the world. For four days at the end of August, on the Esplanade des Docteurs Gentilhe at La Chambre d'Amour, the festival screens the year's best productions on giant outdoor screens, facing the ocean. With two screening sites, a partner village, exhibitions, and concerts, this entirely free event brings together the international surf community around the passion for film. An international jury composed of surf and media personalities awards seven prizes during the closing ceremony. Organized by Anglet Côte Basque - Event Department.

These awards cover the different categories of surf films: feature film, short film, documentary, action film, innovation, and audience award.
The International Surf Film Festival is not limited to screenings:
Admission to the entire festival is completely free, in keeping with the spirit of sharing and openness that characterizes surf culture. This free admission allows for a large and diverse audience, from surf enthusiasts to families on vacation on the Basque Coast.
