About Quiksilver Festival
Quiksilver Festival — edition 2026
The Quiksilver Festival by Swatch returns for its fourth edition from September 19 to 27, 2026, across Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse. Kelly Slater, Kauli Vaast and Jérémy Florès are set to hit the water, Ed Banger Records is curating the music, and everything is free to attend.
2026 Edition: The Fourth Chapter
Nine days, from Saturday, September 19 to Sunday, September 27, 2026, spread across Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse: surf competitions, skate contests, concerts, film screenings and visual arts.
Ed Banger Records at the helm
So Me, artistic director of Ed Banger Records, has designed the visual identity for this edition, along with a collection of clothing, skateboards and accessories sold exclusively on-site. Pedro Winter and the label are handling the entire music program, hosted at various locations across the three towns. This is the first time Ed Banger has joined the festival, following an initial artistic collaboration with Jean Jullien.
Surf and skate
In the water: Kelly Slater, Kauli Vaast, Jérémy Florès, Marco Mignot, Hughie Vaughan, Coco Ho and Milla Coco Brown. On the pavement: Vincent Milou's « Cash for Trick » in downtown Hossegor, featuring Sky Brown, Gustavo Ribeiro, Matthias Dandois and Sam Pilgrim. The festival is also continuing its sessions with Handisurf and Kind Surf.
Getting here and staying
A special OUIGO train decked out in festival colors will depart from Paris for the Landes region on September 18, the day before the opening weekend. The Éco-Resort Naturéo in Seignosse is offering a 10% discount with the code QuikFest for the duration of the festival. Enedis is powering the sites to minimize the use of thermal generators.

Quiksilver Festival: Where Surf Meets Culture
Born in 2023, the Quiksilver Festival is the ultimate expression of surf culture on the Landes coast. Created by two French surf icons, Jérémy Florès and Miky Picon, this unique event transforms the beaches of Hossegor, Capbreton, and Seignosse every September into a huge party ground combining high-level sport and cultural programming.
International Surf Competition
At the heart of the festival, a surf competition brings together 24 world-renowned surfers on the powerful waves of the Landes beach breaks, among the most reputed in the world. The planet's best surfers compete in exceptional conditions, offering a top-tier sporting spectacle.
Music, Art, and Culture
The Quiksilver Festival goes far beyond sport with a rich cultural program:
- Live concerts with international artists
- DJ sets facing the ocean
- Film screenings and surf documentaries
- Art exhibitions and artistic direction entrusted to recognized creators
- Skate sessions and demonstrations
- Autograph sessions with the surfers
A Free and Popular Event
One of the strengths of the Quiksilver Festival is its complete freeness. All competitions, concerts, and activities are free to access, making this event a truly popular festival celebrating the lifestyle of the Landes coast. In just a few editions, the festival has established itself as a major back-to-school event, reminding us that the Landes region is a world capital of surfing.
