The spring meeting for Japanese and geek culture in Lyon
Every spring, Japan Touch Haru and Geek Touch bring together 40,000 enthusiasts at Eurexpo Lyon for a weekend dedicated to Japanese and geek cultures. Across 30,000 m², 250 exhibitors and 100 activities energize fans of manga, cosplay, video games, science fiction, comics, and new technologies. A single ticket grants access to both shows for a complete experience between Japanese traditions and geek universes.
The spring edition of the renowned Japan Touch, Japan Touch Haru ('haru' meaning 'spring' in Japanese), partners with Geek Touch to offer a unique event at Eurexpo Lyon every April. Organized by the association Asiexpo Events, this double show brings together all universes of pop culture under one roof.
The originality of the event lies in the complementarity of its two components. Japan Touch Haru focuses on traditional Japanese arts and martial arts, with a creators' village, a zen and well-being space, and a gift and decoration area. Geek Touch, on the other hand, explores the world of science fiction, comics, TV series, fantasy cinema, video games, and new technologies, with the presence of YouTubers and content creators.
Over 100 activities punctuate the weekend: concerts, shows, screenings and conferences, cosplay contests, J-Pop and K-Pop performances, themed exhibitions, and participatory workshops. The 50 guests offer exclusive meet-and-greets with artists, mangakas, actors, and personalities from the geek world.
The catering area hosts about fifteen restaurants offering Japanese cuisine, Asian street food, and specialties from around the world. The 250 exhibitors set up their stands over 30,000 m², offering manga, figurines, clothing, accessories, Japanese artisanal products, and collectibles.
An exemplary family event, Japan Touch Haru & Geek Touch welcomes all audiences, from seasoned fans to the curious wishing to discover these fascinating universes.
