Les Mardis Perchés is an open-air concert festival held every summer in the old village of Beauchastel, in Ardèche. Organized by the association Beaucharabia, this musical event takes over the open-air theater located on the heights of the medieval village, offering an exceptional panorama of the Rhône valley and the Ardèche hills. The evenings, free and open to all, take place on Tuesday evenings during the summer period.

Local musicians and phenomenal bands

The programming of Les Mardis Perchés is structured in two highlights each evening. From 6:30 PM, the site opens its doors for aperitif preparation. At 7:00 PM, local musicians perform the first set, offering a showcase for local talent. Then at 8:30 PM, an invited band takes over for a quality concert. This alternation between emerging artists and established groups creates a rich and surprising musical dynamic, in various genres ranging from rock to chanson, from folk to reggae.

An enchanting setting in old Beauchastel

The open-air theater of Beauchastel offers a remarkable natural setting for concerts. Perched on the heights of the medieval village, this venue benefits from natural acoustics and a breathtaking view of the Ardèche landscapes. The old village of Beauchastel, listed among the villages of character in Ardèche, adds a heritage dimension to these musical evenings, with its stone alleys and shaded terraces.

Conviviality and homemade catering

Les Mardis Perchés cultivates a spirit of conviviality and sharing. The bar offers local drinks and the catering is entirely homemade by the team of Beaucharabia volunteers. This commitment to quality and artisanal food distinguishes the festival, which rejects industrial formats in favor of homemade and local products. The atmosphere is that of a large shared table, where festival-goers, residents, and tourists gather around music and local gastronomy.

The Beaucharabia association, a cultural driving force

The association Beaucharabia is the driving force behind Les Mardis Perchés. Founded by residents passionate about music and culture, it carries out a cultural animation project in a rural area, with the conviction that live music should be accessible to all, free of charge. Beyond Les Mardis Perchés, Beaucharabia contributes to the associative and cultural life of Beauchastel throughout the year, making the village a meeting place for artists and the public.
