Les Savoirs du Berry is an annual event dedicated to promoting the crafts, creators, and producers of Berry. Organized at the end of May in the park of Château de Meillant, this fair brings together about fifty exhibitors for two days, showcasing the richness and diversity of traditional and contemporary know-how from the Berry region.

The fair hosts about fifty exhibitors representing all fields of crafts and creation: arts and crafts (ceramics, pottery, ironwork), woodworking (cabinetmaking, turning, sculpture), leatherworking (leather goods, saddlery), textiles (weaving, sewing, embroidery), jewelry, and artistic creations.

Local producers are also featured, offering local products: honey, cheeses, regional wines, jams, artisanal charcuterie, sourdough bread, and Berry gastronomic specialties. The fair thus highlights the agricultural and culinary richness of Berry.

The park of Château de Meillant provides an ideal setting for this celebration of know-how. This Renaissance castle, an architectural gem of Berry, offers a majestic backdrop that harmoniously complements the crafts and traditions presented. The association Les Savoirs du Berry, based in Bannegon, carries this project with a clear mission: to promote the heritage of Berry, the work of artisans, creators, and producers, and to share the knowledge and talents developed in Berry.
