About Les Songes Musicaux: French Flanders
Les Songes Musicaux : Flandres Françaises brings together three evenings of classical music in Loos, near Lille. The festival is organized by the La Mélopée association, founded in 2024 by pianists from the Conservatoire de Paris and a cellist from the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, under the artistic direction of pianist Jonathan Fournel. The program highlights brass and woodwind instruments, paying tribute to the region's tradition of municipal wind bands.
Les Songes Musicaux: French Flanders — edition 2026
The inaugural edition of Les Songes Musicaux in the French Flanders region brings together four concerts in Loos, from September 18th to 20th, 2026. The program blends chamber music, sacred vocal repertoire, and brass pieces, featuring pianist Jonathan Fournel, trumpeter Romain Leleu, and violinist Liya Petrova. Concerts will be held at La Fileuse, the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Communal, and the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce church.
