The great cultural season of Lille and its metropolis, heir to Lille 2004
lille3000 has been perpetuating the momentum of Lille European Capital of Culture 2004 since 2006. Every three years, a major thematic season irrigates the metropolis for several months with exhibitions, shows, parades, and festive events. After Bombaysers de Lille, Europe XXL, Fantastic, Renaissance, Eldorado, and Utopia, the 7th edition "Fiesta" celebrates celebration from April 26 to November 9, 2025.
lille3000 was born on January 29, 2005 from the desire to extend the extraordinary cultural dynamic initiated by Lille, European Capital of Culture in 2004. For two decades, the association has pursued an ambitious mission: to make the Lille metropolis a permanent laboratory for contemporary creation and popular celebration.
Since 2006, lille3000 has organized seven major editions, each driven by a strong theme:
The 7th edition, Fiesta, unfolds from April 26 to November 9, 2025. The term "Fiesta" evokes Spain, Southern Europe, and Latin America, illustrating the North's openness to the world. With over 30 exhibitions, shows, parades, and hundreds of events, Fiesta unites major museums, the opera, orchestras, conservatories, theaters, dance centers, and artistic collectives.
Each edition begins with a grand festive parade that crosses the streets of Lille, bringing together tens of thousands of spectators. The Fiesta parade set off on April 26, 2025, from Lille Flandres station towards the esplanade du Champ de Mars.
lille3000 contributes to Lille's international influence and generates significant economic and tourist returns. The association is supported by the City of Lille, the European Metropolis of Lille, the Hauts-de-France Region, and numerous private partners.
