The market is held in the historic center of Mortagne-au-Perche, a medieval town perched on its promontory.
Place du Général de Gaulle and surroundings of Lake Arthur-Rémy, 61400 Mortagne-au-Perche. The market is set up in the pedestrian streets and squares of the historic center, amidst half-timbered houses and heritage buildings that give the evening a special charm.
In the evening, generally from 6 PM or 7 PM until around 11 PM. The concert takes place in the early evening, the raffle in the mid-evening. Artisans are present until closing for demonstrations and exchanges.
Completely free access. The raffle is accessible by purchasing tickets from the shopkeepers' association.
On-site catering offered by the food artisans present at the market: Perche regional products, regional specialties, crepes, galettes, and other treats. A bar is also available with cold and hot drinks and local wines. The many restaurants in the town center of Mortagne are also an option for dinner before or after the market.
Mortagne-au-Perche is an ideal gateway to discover the Regional Natural Park of Perche. Manors, forests, sunken lanes, apple orchards, and green hills make up a landscape of great softness. The Tourist Office, located near the square, can provide information on activities and visits in the region.
