Free rock in the heart of the village

Since its creation on June 5, 2010, Rock in Rebrech' has established itself as a must-attend event on the rock scene in the Loiret region. Organized annually on the Espace Vert, in the center of the village of Rebréchien, this free and accessible festival was born from the passion of a group of volunteers united within the No Mad Muzik association, taken over since 2025 by the DEFI association and the municipality of Rebréchien. The stated objective from the outset: to offer a quality musical event for free, open to all audiences.

Prestigious headliners

Over the years, Rock in Rebrech' has managed to attract renowned artists to its open-air stage. The 6th edition in 2015 hosted Elmer Food Beat in front of over 1,200 people. The 7th edition in 2016 saw Les Fatals Picards take the stage. In 2017, for the 8th edition, it was Michaël Jones, the famous Welsh guitarist and collaborator of Jean-Jacques Goldman, who electrified the audience. The festival celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2019 with a special two-day edition, featuring Chris Slade, the legendary drummer of AC/DC with his band Chris Slade Timeline, and Cock Robin with singer Peter Kingsbery.

A constantly evolving festival

The 12th edition in 2023 marked a shift towards heavier sounds with two themed evenings: a metal night featuring The Prize, Malemort, Krashkarma, and Impureza, and a rock night with Taxiphone, Headkeyz, and Jelusick. The 13th edition in 2024 spanned two days with La Jarry, Princesses Leya, and Sidilarsen. For its 14th edition in 2025, the festival reinvented itself under the leadership of the DEFI association with a lineup blending Jo Dahan (former bassist of Mano Negra), The Brunettes, Brigitte Bop, Santo & Blue Demon, and Never Comply.

A friendly festival village

Beyond the concerts, Rock in Rebrech' offers a true festival village with food stalls, a bar, activities for all ages, a tattoo artist, rock clothing and jewelry stands, and an exhibition of American cars and motorcycles. The warm and family-friendly atmosphere is the strength of this event, which brings together between 1,000 and 2,000 people each year in this small village in the Orléans forest, a few kilometers from the city of Joan of Arc.

Driven by passionate volunteers and supported by the municipality, Rock in Rebrech' proves that a quality festival can remain free and accessible, true to its original motto: to provide a freely accessible event for everyone.
