Access to Mortagne-au-Perche
By car: Mortagne-au-Perche is located 40 km east of Alençon via the D955. From Le Mans, follow the D338 then the D955 towards Bellême and Mortagne (approx. 1 hour). From Nogent-le-Rotrou, take the D923 (approx. 30 minutes). From Paris, take the A11 towards Le Mans then the D338 and D955 (approx. 2.5 hours). Free parking is available in the town center, around Place du Général de Gaulle, and near the function room.
By train: Mortagne-au-Perche does not have a train station. The nearest stations are Alençon (40 km, TER Normandie from Paris and Caen) and Le Mans (80 km, TGV from Paris). From these stations, a vehicle is necessary to reach Mortagne.

Opening hours
The market is open from Friday to Wednesday (December 19-24), from 10 am to 6 pm. The inauguration takes place on Friday at 5 pm with the Christmas parade and the arrival of Santa Claus at 6 pm. The music school concert is held on Friday at 6:45 pm. The fireworks display takes place on Friday at 7:30 pm. The parade of illuminated tractors is scheduled for Saturday at dusk. The parade of decorated bicycles takes place on Sunday at 5:30 pm.
Prices
Entry to the market and entertainment is completely free. The ice rink is free and open throughout the festivities. The funfair and rides are paid (individual tickets).

Stalls offer mulled wine, crepes, waffles, and Perche specialties. Don't hesitate to taste the famous black pudding from Mortagne, a recognized local specialty. Restaurants and shops in Mortagne are open during the festivities.
