A warm Christmas Market in the heart of Vouziers

Every year, on the first weekend of December, the Place Carnot in Vouziers transforms into a true Christmas village. The Vouziers Christmas Market brings together about twenty exhibitors — artisans, creators, and local producers — who offer gift ideas, Christmas decorations, delicacies, and local Ardennes products. Located on the main square of this sub-prefecture of the Ardennes, the market benefits from a remarkable architectural setting, with the half-timbered facades lining the square and the Saint-Maurille church in the background.

Mascots, Santa Claus, and shows for families

The Vouziers Christmas Market is above all a family event. Santa Claus is present from the morning to welcome children and pose for souvenir photos. Popular mascots, such as characters from Paw Patrol (Rubble, Chase, Skye) and the Jingle Belles, mingle with visitors throughout the day. Street shows and musical entertainment create a festive and joyful atmosphere. Food stalls offer mulled wine, hot chocolate, crepes, waffles, and seasonal specialties.

Concerts and laser show

The musical program is one of the market's highlights. On Saturday, the Vouzikos open the festivities with street performances, while choirs and musical ensembles perform in the late afternoon. On Sunday, a concert by the Christmas trio delights visitors at 4 PM. The highlight of the weekend is the spectacular Sunday evening laser show at 5 PM, which illuminates Place Carnot in a magical light show, marking the closing of the festivities and the official start of the holiday season.
