Musical and tourist eco-festival on the southern Ardennes greenway
Les Voix Vertes is a tourist and musical eco-festival organized by the association Les Tourelles in Vouziers, in the Ardennes. Created to celebrate the opening of the southern Ardennes greenway, this event combines the discovery of natural heritage and open-air concerts along the Aisne canal. In the morning, bike rides and nature and heritage tours are offered on the greenway. In the afternoon and evening, a festive village is set up along the canal with an eclectic musical program ranging from French chanson to ska-punk, via pop-soul and electro.
Born from the desire of the association Les Tourelles to celebrate the opening of the southern Ardennes greenway, the Les Voix Vertes festival is an original concept combining green tourism, heritage discovery, and live music. Located along the Aisne canal in Vouziers, this eco-festival invites visitors to explore the area by bike in the morning before enjoying a varied musical program in the afternoon and evening.
The morning is dedicated to discovering the territory: bike rides on the greenway allow participants to reach remarkable natural and heritage sites in the Ardennes Argonne. Accompanied by local guides, participants discover the bocage landscapes, wetlands, charming villages, and ecological riches of the Aisne valley. These cycling tours, accessible to all levels, embody the festival's eco-responsible spirit.
In the afternoon, a festive village comes to life along the canal in Vouziers. Artisan stalls, local food, children's entertainment, and relaxation areas make up this friendly and rural living space. The musical program starts at 11:30 AM and continues late into the night, with artists from various genres.
The inaugural edition notably featured Karpatt, an emblematic figure of festive French chanson, alongside Dionae (pop-soul), Deinos MC (rap), La Punkaravane (ska-punk), Helothere (electro house), and Disco 2000 for a dance party. The Vouziers municipal band provided the musical opening for the day, anchoring the festival in local cultural life.
True to its vocation as an eco-festival, Les Voix Vertes is committed to a global environmental approach: reusable tableware, selective sorting, promotion of soft mobility (cycling, carpooling), support for short supply chains for catering, and raising public awareness of ecological issues. The festival aims to be a model of environmentally friendly cultural event, in harmony with the natural setting of the greenway that hosts it.
The Les Voix Vertes festival returns in June 2026 in Vouziers for a new edition combining bike rides on the southern Ardennes greenway, a festive village by the canal, and open-air concerts. Program to be announced.
