About La Poule des Champs

La Poule des Champs is a friendly music festival that takes place every year in September under a marquee in the small village of Aubérive, north of the Marne. Born in 2006 on the initiative of the association Alba Riva, this festive event offers an eclectic program mixing rock, French chanson, world music, and electro. For two evenings, the village vibrates to the rhythm of lively concerts in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.

A festival born from associative passion

La Poule des Champs was born in 2006, driven by the association Alba Riva, created in 1995 with the desire to inject new dynamism into the village of Aubérive. What started in the village schoolyard has become over the years an unmissable event of the cultural autumn in the Marne, attracting several thousand festival-goers under its emblematic marquee.

An eclectic program under a marquee

Each edition of La Poule des Champs offers a generous and varied lineup, mixing national headliners and musical discoveries. Rock, French chanson, world music, reggae, electro: genres mingle for the greatest pleasure of a loyal and curious audience. The marquee offers unique acoustics and atmosphere, creating exceptional proximity between artists and spectators.

The village spirit

What makes La Poule des Champs charming is its assumed rural roots. The festival transforms the small village of Aubérive into a place of celebration and encounters, where conviviality is the watchword. On-site camping, local catering, and the warm welcome of volunteers contribute to creating this unique atmosphere that brings festival-goers back year after year.

Memorable editions

Over the years, La Poule des Champs has hosted many renowned artists such as La Rue Kétanou, Les Ogres de Barback, Caravan Palace, and Kyo. The festival has managed to grow while preserving its village identity and festive spirit.

La Poule des Champs — edition 2026

20th anniversary edition of La Poule des Champs, on September 11 and 12, 2026, under the big top of Bois Jeannette in Aubérive (Marne). Two evenings of concerts with an eclectic lineup mixing national headliners (Gaëtan Roussel, Matmatah, Fatal Bazooka) and new discoveries, in the friendly and village-like atmosphere that has been the festival's hallmark since 2006.

20th Anniversary Edition

In 2026, La Poule des Champs celebrates its 20th anniversary on September 11 and 12, still under its emblematic big top installed at Bois Jeannette, at the entrance to the village of Aubérive in the north of the Marne. To mark the occasion, the Alba Riva association has put together an explosive program over two evenings, faithful to the festival's eclectic spirit: rock, French chanson, electro, and festive music follow one another on stage.

The festival, which now gathers around 4,500 spectators, maintains its rural roots and conviviality: free on-site camping, food and drink stalls, and a warm welcome from volunteers.
