Marché de Noël du Moulin de Brabant: Craftsmanship by the Water

The Marché de Noël du Moulin de Brabant is a human-sized event that stands out for its exceptional setting: an authentic watermill nestled in Brabant-le-Roi, in the south of the Meuse. Organized by the association Le Moulin de Raoul, this market offers an intimate and warm experience, far from the hustle and bustle of large Christmas markets.

Original Artisanal Creations

The Moulin de Brabant hosts a selection of local creators and artisans who present their creations in the restored spaces of the mill:

  • Paper jewelry: original and eco-responsible creations made from recycled and worked paper
  • Laser engraving on wood: decorative and personalized objects laser-engraved on local wood
  • Drawings and illustrations: original works by local artists
  • Crochet and knitting: handmade sweaters, scarves, hats, and accessories made with care
  • Natural cosmetics: artisanal skincare products made from natural ingredients
  • Melts and mugs: scented melts and artistically decorated mugs

A Warm and Authentic Atmosphere

What makes the Marché de Noël du Moulin's charm incomparable is its intimate and friendly atmosphere. The watermill, with its exposed stone and period mechanisms, offers a unique setting. A fireplace crackles in the main room, while visitors enjoy mulled wine, crepes, hot chocolate, and artisanal herbal teas. The atmosphere is that of a true Christmas of yesteryear.

The Association Le Moulin de Raoul

The association Le Moulin de Raoul aims to host cultural and artisanal events showcasing local players. Throughout the year, the mill hosts markets, exhibitions, and artisanal gatherings. The Christmas Market is one of the season's highlights, attracting visitors from all over the Barrois region.
