Les Frénésies: Riom's Summer Music

Les Frénésies has become the unmissable summer event in Riom. Every July, the Pré Madame esplanade, in the heart of the city, transforms into a place of celebration and music. Organized by the City of Riom, this free concert series offers two musical evenings per week, on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:30 PM.

A Lineup Between Headliners and Discoveries

The Frénésies lineup is structured around two axes:

• Wednesdays: Concerts by headliners of French chanson and variety, featuring artists recognized by the general public
• Fridays: Discoveries and local talents, highlighting the Auvergne music scene and emerging artists

In 2025, the lineup notably welcomed Trois Cafés Gourmands with Malo, Joseph Kamel with Malaska, Stephane with Marion Roch, Jeremy Frerot with NYV on Wednesdays, and Bonneville, Alkabaya, Cumbia Boom Box on Fridays.

A Popular and Family Event

Les Frénésies embodies strong values of friendliness, positivity, effervescence, and enjoyment. The festival aims to be a moment of sharing accessible to all, with no admission fee. In 2024, over 35,000 people attended the concerts, confirming the growing success of this event. The atmosphere is resolutely family-friendly, with activities suitable for all ages.
