Christmas market, illuminations, and Ferris wheel in the heart of the Mayenne prefecture
The Laval Christmas Market is part of the festive program "Laval Lights" which illuminates the city from late November to early January. For five days in December, about fifty exhibitors set up in the square de Boston to offer crafts, local products, and gift ideas. The event is accompanied by an inaugural fireworks display, projections on the castle, a 32-meter Ferris wheel, shows, and magical entertainment. Admission is completely free.
Each year, the city of Laval adorns itself with its most beautiful lights to welcome the holiday season. The "Laval Lights" program, which runs from late November to early January, transforms the Mayenne prefecture into a magical setting with spectacular illuminations, projections on the castle, a Ferris wheel, and a Christmas market.

The market is open during the day and evening, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays until 11 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy the nighttime atmosphere and illuminations.
The launch of Laval Lights is marked by a fireworks display fired from the Béatrix de Gâvre and Sadi Carnot quays in late November, announcing the start of several weeks of festivities.
A 32-meter Ferris wheel installed at Square de Boston offers a panoramic view of the illuminated city from late November to early January. The light projections on Laval Castle and the illuminations of the downtown streets create a magical and enchanting atmosphere.
