By car: Ligny-en-Barrois is located about 15 km south of Bar-le-Duc, accessible via the D116. From Nancy, allow about 1 hour via the D331 then the D116. From Paris, take the A4 to Bar-le-Duc then the D116 south. Free parking is available near the Place de la République and in the adjacent streets of the town center.
By train: Ligny-en-Barrois station is served by TER Grand Est from Bar-le-Duc and Toul. From the station, Place de la République is a short walk through the town center.

The market is open all day, generally from 9 am to 6 pm. The Saint Nicholas and Father Whipper float parade winds through the town streets in the late afternoon (around 4-5 pm depending on the edition). Access to the market and the Saint Nicholas parade is completely free. Purchases from artisans and producers are, of course, subject to a charge.
