The Fête de la Musique in Chelles

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Chelles, in Seine-et-Marne, into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over public spaces in the late afternoon and evening, for all audiences and in all styles.

A special 80s edition in 2026

For 2026, the City of Chelles honors the 80s with two tribute concerts dedicated to two legends of French song: Daniel Balavoine and then the group Téléphone. The day unfolds in two city center locations, Place Cala and Parc du Souvenir – Émile Fouchard, in a retro and festive atmosphere.

Place Cala is animated by the ensembles of the Conservatoire Jacques-Higelin, from orchestras in the early evening to contemporary music afterwards, while the Parc du Souvenir hosts the two main tribute concerts of the evening.
