Every June 21st, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, music school students, and local bands freely take over the streets, squares, and quays of the « Venise comtadine ». In a family-friendly and convivial atmosphere, the pedestrianized city center transforms into an open-air stage, where all styles come together. The day is entirely free and open to all.

When: Sunday, June 21st, from the afternoon until late at night, depending on the venue.
Where: Place de l'Église and Place Ferdinand Buisson, Campredon art & image (20 rue du Dr Tallet), Parc Gautier, and the music school (avenue du Partage des Eaux).
Price: Free admission.
Access: The town center will be closed to traffic from 8:00 AM on Sunday until 7:00 AM on Monday in certain areas (avenues des Quatre Otages and de la Libération, cours Anatole France, places de la Liberté and Ferdinand Buisson, quais Jaurès and Rouget de Lisle, etc.). Parking is also prohibited in these areas; please use the peripheral parking lots.
Every June 21st, the town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue hosts the Fête de la Musique throughout its historic center, which is closed to traffic from the morning of the event until the following day.
Concerts are held around the collegiate church (Place de l'Église, Place Ferdinand Buisson), at Campredon art & image, in Parc Gautier, and at the music school. The municipal music school, Musical'Isle, and local bands perform alongside guest ensembles. In 2026, the festival celebrated its 45th edition.
