About Pharaonic

Born in Chambéry in 2015, Pharaonic Festival has established itself over a decade as one of the major electronic music events in the French Alps. Since 2022, the event has been held in Cluses, Haute-Savoie, where it benefits from a spectacular natural setting between the peaks of the Arve valley. Every September, the festival brings together over 10,000 festival-goers for a marathon day of electronic sets, from mid-afternoon until late at night. In partnership with Fun Radio, Pharaonic hosts internationally renowned artists — from Martin Solveig to Timmy Trumpet, from Lost Frequencies to Malaa — in a festive and friendly atmosphere that combines musical excellence and accessibility.

Pharaonic: Ten Years of Electronic Music in the Alps

The Pharaonic Festival was born in Chambéry in 2015, driven by a team passionate about electronic music and eager to offer a large-scale event in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The first editions, organized indoors, met with growing success, prompting the organizers to seek a more ambitious setting.

In 2022, the festival took a decisive turn by settling in Cluses, in the heart of the Arve valley, for an open-air summer edition. The gamble paid off: the mountain setting, the quality of the sound and light production, and the international programming appealed to an ever-wider audience. From 2023, the Pharaonic Summer Edition hosted Martin Solveig, Lost Frequencies, and Ofenbach for eight hours of non-stop music under the Alpine stars.

A Unique Format: The One-Day Festival

Pharaonic stands out with its concentrated one-day format, from 2:30 PM to 2:00 AM, creating a progressive build-up and rare intensity. Several stages simultaneously host sets by international DJs, emerging artists from the French scene, and regional talents, offering musical diversity ranging from house to techno, including electro-pop and bass music.

Strong Territorial Roots

The establishment in Cluses has allowed the festival to forge close ties with the Haute-Savoie region. The event benefits from the support of the town of Cluses and local tourism stakeholders, contributing to the radiance of the Arve valley well beyond the traditional winter season. The festival generates significant economic benefits for local hotels, restaurants, and businesses.

XXL Lineups

Over the years, Pharaonic has attracted international headliners. The festival has hosted Martin Solveig, Lost Frequencies, Ofenbach, Timmy Trumpet, and Malaa, while also giving a prominent place to emerging artists and local talents. This balanced programming policy helps make Pharaonic a springboard for the regional electronic scene.

Pharaonic — edition 2026

Pharaonic Festival returns to Cluses on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for its fourth Haute-Savoie edition. Building on the success of the anniversary edition, the festival continues to grow with a lineup yet to be announced.

Pharaonic 2026: The September Rendezvous

After the resounding success of the 10th-anniversary edition, Pharaonic Festival announces its return to Cluses on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The full lineup will be unveiled during the summer of 2026.

The festival will retain its proven format of a marathon day of open-air electronic music, in the heart of the Arve valley. Ticket sales will open in the spring of 2026 on the festival's official website.
