About Pharaonic

Born in 2015 at Le Phare in Chambéry, thanks to the initiative of the Poisson d'Avril agency and Fun Radio, the Pharaonic Festival has established itself over the last decade as a major electronic music event in Savoie and Haute-Savoie. After six spring editions in Chambéry, the event moved to Cluses in September 2022, transitioning to an open-air format at the Parvis des Esserts, which the organizers describe as the largest outdoor dancefloor in Haute-Savoie. The format remains unchanged: a single day, one stage, running from mid-afternoon until the middle of the night, with a lineup blending international headliners, French artists, and regional talent discovered through the Pharaonic Tremplin. Past performers include Bob Sinclar, Martin Solveig, Lost Frequencies, Ofenbach, Kungs, Showtek, Timmy Trumpet, and Malaa. The 2023 edition holds the attendance record, with 10,500 people gathered at the site.

Pharaonic 2026: Nine DJs at the Parvis des Esserts

The Pharaonic Festival brings its beats to Cluses on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Parvis des Esserts. An open-air electronic music festival established in the Arve Valley since 2022, Pharaonic is a one-day, single-stage event, with organizers promising a "100% brand-new" lineup for this edition.

A lineup led by Bob Sinclar

The 2026 edition is headlined by Bob Sinclar, the French house and French Touch icon known for hits like "Love Generation" and "World, Hold On." Joining him are R3HAB, the Dutch DJ and producer who tours the world's biggest stages; Petit Biscuit, the French producer with over 4 billion streams; as well as Amor, Upsilone, and Paloma, a rising star of the new generation of French DJs making her Cluses debut. Danish DJ Morten, who shared the stage at the Stade de France with David Guetta in June 2026, will close out the night—also his first time at Pharaonic. DJ Deal will keep the energy high between sets.

The Talent Contest opens the stage

As every year, the winners of the Pharaonic Talent Contest open the festival. For 2026, the honors go to Liom, the contest winner (tech house, bass house, and drum & bass), and Noisy, the jury's favorite (house, tech house, and melodic techno), both selected during the public final held on June 4, 2026, at L'Atelier in Cluses.

Format and Vibe

Doors open at 3:30 PM, with sets running from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and the site closes at 2:00 AM. Please note: re-entry is not permitted. Beyond the stage, the Pharaonic Village welcomes the public with a bar area, local food trucks, dining spaces, the official festival shop, and merchandise stands for the performing DJs, along with various activities—makeup and glitter stations, a photo booth, and massage stands.

Access

The Parvis des Esserts does not have public parking in the immediate vicinity. The City of Cluses and the Cluses Arve & montagnes community are providing park-and-ride facilities and free shuttles serving Cluses, Marnaz, Scionzier, and Thiez, as well as service from the Cluses train station starting at 3:00 PM. A raised platform and dedicated access for people with reduced mobility are available near the North entrance, Avenue Jean Monnet.

Pharaonic: Ten Years of Electronic Music in Savoie

The Pharaonic Festival was launched in 2015 by the Poisson d'Avril agency and Fun Radio with a clear goal: to turn the largest concert venue in Savoie, Le Phare in Chambéry, into a giant dancefloor for the youth. Edition after edition, the event grew, expanding from 3,000 to over 6,000 attendees.

From Chambéry to Cluses

After six spring editions at Le Phare—March 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2022—the festival relocated to Cluses to accommodate more festival-goers. The first Cluses edition took place on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the open-air Parvis des Esserts, featuring Kungs, The Avener, and Showtek. In 2023, Lost Frequencies, Ofenbach, and Martin Solveig drew a record-breaking 10,500 people. After a break in 2024, Pharaonic returns on September 13, 2025, with Timmy Trumpet, Malaa, Trinix, Mosimann, Feder, and Orlinski.

A Unique Format: The One-Day Festival

Pharaonic takes place over a single day on one stage, from mid-afternoon until the middle of the night—for the 2026 edition, doors open at 3:30 PM, sets run from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and the site closes at 2:00 AM. This concentrated format creates a progressive build-up, moving from house to EDM and techno, featuring international DJs, French artists, and regional talent.

The Pharaonic Tremplin

Each year, the festival organizes a talent competition open to all DJs, with a special focus on candidates from Savoie and Haute-Savoie. The process involves submitting a 10 to 15-minute mix, a pre-selection phase, and a public final at L'Atelier in Cluses—scheduled for June 4 for the 2026 edition. The winners open the festival stage in September before the international headliners.

Strong Local Roots

Moving to Cluses has allowed the festival to forge deep ties with the local Haute-Savoie community. The event is supported by the City of Cluses, the Department of Haute-Savoie, and the Auvergne-RhĂ´ne-Alpes Region, alongside Fun Radio and DJ Mag France, contributing to the vibrancy of the Arve Valley beyond the traditional winter season.
