A new electronic breath in Haute-Loire

The Pulse Arzon Festival, nicknamed the PAF, was born from the desire of Sylvain Baldella, president of GIL (Groupement d'Initiatives Locales), the association of shopkeepers and artisans of Craponne-sur-Arzon. His ambition: to break down preconceived notions about electronic music and create a space where all generations can come together around this culture. The festival draws inspiration from major festival experiences and aims to revive the festive spirit on the Velay plateau.

The Parc des Étoiles: a natural setting for the bass

The PAF takes over the Parc des Étoiles, an emblematic site in Craponne-sur-Arzon already known for hosting the Country Festival each summer. This 3-hectare site, in the heart of nature on the Velay plateau, offers an exceptional setting for total sound and visual immersion. With a capacity of up to 5,000 spectators, the site has free parking and a camping area accessible from Friday to Monday.

A rich and eclectic program

The Pulse Arzon Festival offers a varied program that embraces all facets of electronic and alternative music:

• Main Stage: headliners perform from 5 PM to 3 AM, with national and international renowned artists.
• Bass Corner: from noon, sound systems and DJs make the site vibrate with dub, reggae, and bass music sets.
• Activities: fire-eaters, DJ workshops, magicians, documentary screenings, and activities for children.

The first edition in 2025 hosted top-tier artists: Les Tambours du Bronx, an extraordinary percussive show, LGMX, Tilt Hadra, a figure of the French psytrance scene, Brutal Oppozitz, and Beatonio. The Bass Corner was powered by Earth and Power Sound System with General Bundi.

An eco-responsible and accessible festival

The PAF is committed to an eco-responsible and inclusive approach. Prices are designed to be accessible: free for under 8s, half-price for 8-15 year olds, and affordable prices for adults. Entry and exit are free until 8 PM to allow families to fully enjoy the event. The festival collaborates with Coop'art for technical aspects (sound and lighting), ensuring professional production quality in a cooperative spirit.

The spirit of the PAF

More than just a music festival, the Pulse Arzon Festival aims to be a unifying event that brings together the local community and electronic music lovers from all over the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. By taking over the same venue as the Country Festival, it demonstrates that Craponne-sur-Arzon is a land of festivals, capable of hosting very different musical universes with the same enthusiasm and conviviality.
