About Pyro'Festival

The Pyro'Festival is an immersive pyrotechnic show held annually at the Domaine de Vermoise in Sainte-Maure, just 10 minutes from Troyes. Established in 2022, the event takes the form of a competition: three pyrotechnicians each perform a segment of the evening based on a theme that changes every year, with the audience voting for their favorite display alongside a panel of experts. The 3-hectare estate hosts between 3,000 and 4,000 spectators per edition; organizers report a total of 16,000 attendees over the first four years and over 7,000 individual firework launches. The evening also features an opening concert, a food truck village, and an after-party DJ set.

Pyro'Festival 2026: A World Tour in Fireworks

For its 5th edition, the Pyro'Festival returns on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Domaine de Vermoise in Sainte-Maure (10). The theme, announced by the organizer on April 1, 2026, is a world tour: five stops (Europe, Africa and Eastern Europe, Asia, the United States, and Brazil) spread across the three acts of the evening.

Three Competing Pyrotechnicians

The competition features three pyrotechnicians, one for each act. Éric Pyro, based in the Aube region and winner of the 2025 Pyro'Festival, opens the evening and defends his title with a creation made in partnership with Sparklight; he has also been the pyrotechnician for Nigloland for over a decade. Madness Fireworks, based in Serris (Seine-et-Marne), performs the second act. Arteventia, a company from the Yvelines region founded in 2013, performs the third. A jury of experts and local figures, along with a public vote, will select the winner, who will perform a display at the 6th edition.

Concert, Food Trucks, and DJ Set

Doors open at 7:00 PM with an opening concert and a food truck village. The pyrotechnic show begins at 9:00 PM. A DJ will then take the stage for a set created specifically for the Pyro'Festival, playing until the doors close at 2:00 AM. Technical production (sound, lighting, video, and stage structures) is managed by Expert Event, based in Chanteloup-en-Brie.

New for 2026: The Premium Area

An enclosed area with wristband access is available for the first time this year: guaranteed individual seating and a front-row spot behind the security barriers. Space is limited.

A unique immersive pyrotechnic show in Aube

The Pyro'Festival, born in 2022 at Domaine de Vermoise in Sainte-Maure, has quickly established itself as a must-attend event in the festive landscape of Aube. Just 10 minutes from Troyes, this new kind of festival offers an immersive pyrotechnic show that transcends traditional fireworks to become a true artistic and sensory experience. Each edition attracts between 3,000 and 4,000 spectators to the rural and bucolic setting of Domaine de Vermoise, blending the beauty of the fires with the magic of an open-air evening.

Three acts, thousands of shots and a magnificent staging

The heart of the Pyro'Festival is a three-act show orchestrated by the best French pyrotechnicians, who command thousands of shots above Domaine de Vermoise. Each act unfolds its own theme, with pyrotechnic choreographies synchronized to a carefully composed soundtrack. Each year, a new theme renews the experience: after the cinema edition in 2025, the 5th edition in 2026 offers a world tour in three acts, stop by stop (Europe, Africa & Eastern Europe, Asia, United States, Brazil). This magnificent staging transforms the night sky into a giant screen of lights, colors, and emotions.

A competitive format with public vote

The Pyro'Festival stands out for its competitive format: three of the best French pyrotechnicians compete, and a public vote, combined with an expert jury, designates the best act of the evening. The winning pyrotechnician is invited to return for the next edition. This participatory format strengthens spectator involvement and adds a fun dimension to the experience. Between the pyrotechnic acts, spectators can vote, interact, and enjoy the festive atmosphere that reigns over the estate.

A festive village, food trucks and DJ set until the end of the night

The Pyro'Festival is much more than just a fireworks show. From 7 PM, the estate gates open to an opening concert and a village of food trucks offering a varied and gourmet selection of food. After the pyrotechnic show, the evening continues with a DJ set that keeps festival-goers dancing until the gates close, transforming Domaine de Vermoise into a true dance floor under the stars.
