Edition 2025 — Violoncelle de Bélaye
The 36th and final edition of the Rencontres de Violoncelle de Bélaye took place from August 2 to 8, 2025. Seventeen high-level musicians, including trombonist Fabrice Millischer as an exceptional guest, gathered around Roland Pidoux for four concerts and seven workshop-concerts, concluding thirty-six years of the festival.

36th Edition — August 2 to 8, 2025
The 36th edition of the Rencontres de Violoncelle de Bélaye, which turned out to be the last under the artistic direction of Roland Pidoux, brought together seventeen top-level musicians from August 2 to 8, 2025. The program included four concerts and seven workshop-concerts.
Guest Artists
Among the performers were cellists Léo Ispir, Eliott Leridon, Takumi Morooka, Éric-Maria Couturier, Karine Jean-Baptiste, Antoine Lederlin, Raphaël Perraud, and Sébastien Walnier; violinists Thomas Briant, Hawijch Elders, and Sébastien Surel; pianists Mélanie Bracale and Théotime Gillot; violists Laure-Anne Simon and Jean-Baptiste Souchon; and trombonist Fabrice Millischer, an exceptional guest for this final edition.
A Friendly Buffet Dinner
On Thursday, August 7 at 8 PM, a buffet dinner at €20 in Bélaye's village square allowed the public to share a convivial moment with the musicians, in the tradition of the Rencontres.
