About Respire Jazz

Respire Jazz Festival is an eco-jazz festival organized every summer by the Respire Jazz association in the enchanting setting of the former Puyperoux abbey in Montmoreau, in Sud Charente. Since 2010, under the artistic direction of guitarist Pierre Perchaud, a former student of the Angouleme conservatory, the festival has set the landscapes of Sud Charente vibrating to the rhythm of jazz and improvised music. Over a long weekend in June, concerts follow one another without being alike, extended each evening by warm jam sessions. Committed to inclusion and the environment, Respire Jazz offers moderate prices and free admission for under 18s.
