About Jazz(s) at Trois-Palis
Every year in mid-September, the Jazz(s) à Trois Palis festival brings jazz musicians to the church and community hall of this small village in Charente. It was founded by drummer Bruno Tocanne with the aim of bringing music beyond the mainstream circuit and into unconventional venues.
The program blends renowned artists from the French jazz scene with more unique acts, such as baroque ensembles fused with jazz. Each edition features evening concerts, free morning performances at the church, family workshops, and a mobile comic book library.

For its 8th edition, the festival kicks off with "Rigodons!", a septet blending viola da gamba, harpsichord, and baroque instruments with Laurent Dehors' jazz. Louis Sclavis, François Corneloup, and Bruno Ducret headline Saturday night with "Inner Chaos", while Catherine Delaunay and Claude Tchamitchian close out the weekend with "Naïri".
