The Festival du Bien Manger brings together a local farmers' market, communal dining tables, and workshops on sustainable food at the Jardin Public in Cognac. Organized by the Collectif Mangeons Mieux in partnership with Grand Cognac and the City of Cognac, the event connects producers, culinary professionals, and local residents through practical initiatives for better eating.
Fine Food Festival — edition 2026
For its inaugural edition, the Festival du Bien Manger is setting up shop in the Jardin Public of Cognac, featuring a local farmers' market, communal dining tables, and a refreshment bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The afternoon will alternate between hands-on workshops—such as chef Antoine Vernouillet's "Make Your Own Ice Cream" and Nathalie Longuetaud's anti-waste session—and talks on food systems, featuring Vincent Bretagnolle alongside insights from local officials from Grand Cognac and Toulouse Métropole.

Practical information — Fine Food Festival
The festival is held at the Jardin Public in Cognac, located on Boulevard Denfert-Rochereau. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own plate, cutlery, and a reusable water bottle to enjoy the communal tables and the refreshment area.
