About Au Gré des Arts

Every year, the Au Gré des Arts festival brings early music concerts to the Saint-Cybard church in the small Charente village of Pranzac, showcasing the building's unique Italian Renaissance-style organ. Since its inception in 2012, the Paroles d'orgue association has invited ensembles specializing in 16th and 17th-century Italian repertoire, where period strings, voices, woodwinds, and keyboards engage in a musical dialogue. The program spans several months, featuring a highlight in October dedicated to Girolamo Frescobaldi and his school.
