The vineyard celebrates at the Cloître des Récollets
Vignobles en Scène is an event labeled Vignobles et Découvertes that takes place at the Cloître des Récollets in Bergerac, within Quai Cyrano. This festive day celebrates the encounter between the wine heritage of Bergerac and the performing arts.
Tastings, gastronomy, and shows
The program includes:
- Seven tastings of wines selected from committed producers, labeled Vignobles et Découvertes sites
- Refined dishes prepared by the Michelin-starred chef Damien Fagette from the restaurant Tour des Vents
- Cheeses from Fromagerie de Pauline and a chocolate workshop by Hervé Robin
- Musical entertainment with the Dandy Manchots
Heritage and discovery
The event begins with a themed tour at 11 am on the history of gabarres, those flat-bottomed boats that transported barrels on the Dordogne. The setting of the Cloître des Récollets, a place steeped in wine history, offers a unique "chic country" atmosphere.
