The humor festival of the Lille metropolis
Founded by Le Spotlight, the iconic comedy club in Lille active for over 15 years, the Spotlight Festival has become in just a few editions the unmissable humor event in the Hauts-de-France region. Every November, it takes over no less than seven venues in the Lille metropolis for two weeks of laughter and discovery.
The festival offers a program that covers the entire spectrum of contemporary humor: stand-up, one-man-show, stage shows, musical humor, improvisation, and innovative formats. Headliners from the French comedy scene rub shoulders with emerging young talents, offering spectators a complete panorama of today's humor.
The ambition of the Spotlight Festival is to spread humor throughout the Lille metropolis. The shows take place in various locations: Le Spotlight of course, but also the Théâtre Sébastopol, the Splendid, the Péniche Laléa, the Théâtre Charcot, Aux Enfants Terribles, and the Espace Culturel de Bondues. This diversity of venues allows for varied formats, from intimate shows to grand performances.
Beyond the shows, the festival offers masterclasses led by established comedians, meet-and-greets with artists, and conferences on the world of stand-up and comedy. A professional segment also allows young artists to be discovered and to develop their network.
After the success of its first editions, the Spotlight Festival confirms its growing momentum. The 3rd edition in 2025 has further expanded its program and number of venues, reflecting the enthusiasm of the Lille public for live humor.
4th edition of the Spotlight Festival, the major comedy event in the Lille metropolitan area, from November 13 to 29, 2026. Two weeks of stand-up, one-man shows, and comedy performances in seven venues across the metropolitan area.

Among the first names announced are Laura Calu, Edouard Deloignon, and Florian Lex. The full program and ticketing information will be progressively available on the official website and online ticketing platform.
