Traveling festival of wine and shows in southern Ardèche
Vignobles en Scène is a national wine tourism event that takes place every autumn in southern Ardèche. Succeeding the "Fascinant Week-End", this traveling festival offers an original experience combining wine tastings and live performances in the region's vineyards and cellars.
The festival takes over the vineyards and cellars of southern Ardèche to offer unique evenings combining concerts, stand-up comedy, improvisation, circus, and gourmet tastings. Each venue hosts a specific program, creating a festive journey through the Ardèche vineyards. The Chaix du Pont d'Arc in Ruoms, the Château Rochecolombe in Bourg-Saint-Andéol, and the Château de la Selve in Grospierres are among the emblematic sites of the festival.
The 2025 edition was launched with an unusual banquet at the Grotte Chauvet 2, bringing together two Michelin-starred chefs from Ardèche, Richard Rocle and Guido Niño Torres, to celebrate local products accompanied by the region's great wines. This exceptional gastronomic moment illustrates the festival's desire to blend culinary culture and wine heritage.
Beyond the shows, Vignobles en Scène offers wine workshops, cellar tours, food and wine pairings, and appetizer platters to share. These activities allow visitors to discover the richness of the Ardèche wine terroir in a friendly and educational setting. The festival highlights the AOC Côtes du Vivarais and other appellations of southern Ardèche.
Vignobles en Scène takes place over four days in October, with events spread across multiple estates and cellars in southern Ardèche. This traveling format invites visitors to explore the vineyards and discover the diversity of the region's terroirs and producers.
Vignobles en Scène returns to southern Ardèche from Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18, 2026, around the now traditional third weekend of October. Three days to celebrate wine differently, in the heart of the region's wine estates and cellars: music, live arts, tastings, and sensory activities in the vineyards adorned with their autumn colors.
From Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18, 2026, southern Ardèche hosts a new edition of Vignobles en Scène, the national wine tourism event locally supported by Les Vins d'Ardèche. Heir to the «Fascinant Week-End» and labeled Vignobles & Découvertes, the event takes over the wine estates, cellars, and heritage sites of the territory every third weekend of October to bring wine into dialogue with music, live arts, and gastronomy.
The kick-off is traditionally given on Thursday evening by an extraordinary banquet organized by Les Vins d'Ardèche in the heart of Grotte Chauvet 2, orchestrated by Ardèche Michelin-starred chefs around the region's great wines. A unique gastronomic moment that blends prehistory, terroir, and the art of dining.
Throughout the weekend, the estates and cellars of southern Ardèche offer a rich program: concerts in the vineyards, stand-up, improvisation, circus shows, gourmet and sensory walks, oenological workshops, cellar tours, guided tastings, food and wine pairings, and meetings with winemakers. Enthusiasts can cycle through the vineyard on electric bikes from one estate to another, or combine heritage discovery (dolmens, prehistoric sites) with the pleasure of tasting.
Vignobles en Scène highlights the appellations of southern Ardèche, including Côtes du Vivarais, in the luminous setting of autumn vineyards, just after the harvest. An itinerant and convivial format that invites visitors to gently (re)discover the diversity of Ardèche terroirs and producers.
The festival is traveling and takes place in several vineyards and cellars in southern Ardèche: Ruoms, Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, Bourg-Saint-Andéol, Grospierres, etc.
Prices vary depending on the events. Some activities are free, others are paid.
