WinteRock Fest: Rock to Warm Up the Alpine Winter

WinteRock Fest was born in 2015, on the initiative of amateur musicians and rock enthusiasts from the Arve valley. What was initially just an evening among friends at La Limonaderie in Bonneville quickly gained momentum: the public responded, local bands were eager to play, and word-of-mouth did the rest.

In 2017, the festival reached a new milestone by moving to the Salle de l'Agora, a true cultural venue in Bonneville, offering a capacity and technical conditions suited to the growing ambition of the event. In 2019, the format expanded from one to two evenings, and for its 10th edition in 2026, WinteRock Fest will offer three consecutive evenings for the first time.

The SeasonsRock Association: Engine of the Local Scene

Behind WinteRock Fest is the SeasonsRock association, created in 2014. Beyond the festival, the association works throughout the year to promote the local rock scene and support emerging talents from the Arve valley. WinteRock Fest has thus become a real springboard for regional bands, sharing the bill with established national acts.

A Human-Sized Festival

WinteRock Fest champions a human-sized format that fosters proximity between the audience and the artists. DJ sets between concerts, exhibitions, merchandise stands, autograph sessions, and entertainment complement the musical program. The festival cultivates a family-friendly and welcoming atmosphere, far from the summer circuit giants, where the passion for music remains the common thread.

Ten Years of Evolution

Over its ten editions, WinteRock Fest has hosted notable names from the French rock, punk, and metal scene: Ultra Vomit, Lofofora, Sidilarsen, and many others. Each edition offers a balance between recognized headliners and discoveries, with particular attention paid to bands from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
