Haut-Doubs Festival: 20 years of rock and live music in Pontarlier

Since 2005, the Haut-Doubs Festival has been making Pontarlier vibrate to the rhythm of live music. Supported by the association Festivest, this annual festival is the meeting point for lovers of rock, contemporary music, and musical discoveries in the Haut-Doubs region. In 2025, the festival celebrated its 20th anniversary with a memorable edition dedicated to Tribute Bands.

An eclectic program

The Haut-Doubs Festival offers a deliberately eclectic program, mixing rock, pop, hip-hop, electro, world music, and sometimes more unexpected genres. Each edition brings together several bands and artists over one or two evenings, offering the public a dense and varied musical experience. The festival alternates between recognized headliners and local or regional discoveries, contributing to the dynamism of the Franche-Comté music scene.

Espace René Pourny and Théâtre Bernard Blier

The festival mainly takes place at the Espace René Pourny or the Théâtre Bernard Blier in Pontarlier, two performance venues that offer an intimate setting and sound quality appreciated by musicians and the public. 20 years of music and conviviality

In 2025, the Haut-Doubs Festival celebrated its 20 years of existence with a special Tribute Bands edition. On the program for this exceptional evening: For Ever One (Tribute U2), TAXIPHONE (Tribute Téléphone), and ACDIC (Tribute AC/DC), three bands paying homage to the legends of world and French rock. This anniversary edition confirmed the festival's place in Pontarlier's cultural landscape.
