Alternative and eclectic music festival in Ardèche
Zava Festival was an alternative music festival located in an exceptional natural site near Aubenas, in Ardèche. Perched at 1,200 meters above sea level, the festival offered breathtaking views of Europe's largest volcano and the sources of the Loire River, facing the Alps.
Zava Festival stood out for its underground program, rich and diverse, mixing all musical styles in a resolutely alternative spirit. A single stage hosted the concerts, while an electronic sound wall offered techno, house, and bass music sets. The festival cultivated musical eclecticism as its trademark, rejecting genre boundaries.
Zava Festival was built around strong values: honesty, sincerity, human warmth, and respect for the public. Prices were deliberately accessible, free movement was guaranteed throughout the site, and parking and camping were included in the ticket price. Accessibility for people with disabilities and dry toilets demonstrated environmental and social commitment.
The festival took place in a vast meadow surrounded by forests, near a natural lake. This mountainous setting offered a unique experience, far from urban festivals, where nature and music merged in a green setting. The altitude and isolation of the site contributed to creating a timeless festive bubble.
More than just a music festival, Zava Festival was a moment of community sharing where festival-goers, artists, and organizers came together in a shared spirit of celebration and conviviality. The event embodied an alternative vision of celebration, prioritizing the human and musical experience over the commercial aspect.
The festival took place near Aubenas (07200), at an altitude of approximately 1,200 m in Ardèche.
Accessible prices. Parking and camping included.
