The Puces Musicales are held around the kiosk in the Jardin Henri Vinay, a 4.5-hectare public park located in the city center of Le Puy-en-Velay. Access is via rue des Jardins or cours Victor Hugo.

The market is open from 9 am to 5 pm. The entertainment and concerts of La Folle journée du jazz continue until 7 pm.

- By car: Le Puy-en-Velay is accessible via the RN88 from Saint-Étienne (approx. 1h15) and via the A75 then RN102 from Clermont-Ferrand (approx. 1h30). Free and paid public parking lots are available near the Jardin Henri Vinay, notably at Place du Breuil and Cours Victor Hugo.
- By train: Le Puy-en-Velay SNCF station is served by TER trains from Saint-Étienne and Lyon. The Jardin Henri Vinay is about a 10-minute walk from the station.
