About À travers chants et Forez
L'Alambichœur, a chamber vocal ensemble founded in Montbrison in 2004 under the direction of Martine Girard, brings together singers from the Monts du Matin and the Monts du Soir to perform a repertoire focused on contemporary composers. Since the autumn of 2022, the association has organized the À travers chants et Forez festival: each edition invites several amateur vocal groups from the region to perform in the churches of charming Forez villages, with a free guided tour of the village preceding each concert.
À travers chants et Forez — edition 2026
The 3rd edition of the festival brings together the Alambichœur and three guest amateur vocal ensembles, from Lyon to Valprivas, for three concerts held in three different villages across the Forez region: Sail-sous-Couzan, Cervières, and finally Marols. Each event begins with a free guided tour of the village before the evening concert.
