Aubrac en Plateau 2026 — 3rd Edition

The Festival Aubrac en Plateau returns for its 3rd edition from September 20 to October 18, 2026. Five events, all on Sundays at 4:00 PM, will take place at four locations on the plateau: the multi-purpose hall in Condom-d'Aubrac, Place de Castelnau in Saint-Côme-d'Olt, the Ferme des Fieux, and, in case of bad weather, the village hall in Saint-Chély-d'Aubrac.

The opening event on September 20 is a free residency showcase: actress Coco Felgeirolles will be working from September 14 to 20 on Les larmes de Clytemnestre, a text by Marie-Pierre Cattino, and will present excerpts of her work. This will be followed by four ticketed shows: outdoor dance, jazz, theater, and a sign-language cabaret.

Full-price tickets are 14 €, with a reduced rate of 10 € available upon proof of eligibility for those under 26, job seekers, RSA recipients, and groups of 10 or more. The festival pass, priced at 50 €, covers all four shows and is limited to two per person. Reservations: 06 08 25 96 67, [email protected], or via HelloAsso.

Live performance conquers the Aubrac plateau

Born in 2024, the Aubrac en Plateau Festival is a live performance festival that takes over the rural venues of the Aubrac plateau in Aveyron. Supported by the association Aubrac en Plateau festival de spectacles vivants, created in December 2023, this multidisciplinary festival invites professional companies to present their creations in unconventional spaces: farms, burons, and village halls in the Aubrac villages.

Theater, dance, music, and storytelling in a rural setting

The festival unfolds over several Sundays between September and October, offering one show per week in a different location on the plateau. The program encompasses all disciplines of live performance: theater (classical and contemporary texts), dance (hip-hop, contemporary), music (classical, French chanson), and storytelling arts. Each show is followed by a friendly discussion with the artists.

Authentic and unusual performance venues

The originality of the Aubrac en Plateau Festival lies in its choice of venues: the Ferme des Fieux between Saint-Côme-d'Olt and Salgues, the Buron des Enguilhens in Condom d'Aubrac, the salle La Lapinière and the salle Carène at the Saint-Côme-d'Olt town hall. These authentic spaces, imbued with the history and daily life of the rural world, offer a unique setting for artistic creations and foster a rare proximity between artists and spectators.

A festival that resists with flair

The Aubrac en Plateau Festival champions a demanding and generous vision of culture in rural areas. By bringing professional live performance to the villages and farms of Aubrac, it creates a link between artists and residents, between contemporary creation and the living heritage of the plateau. A festival that proves that culture knows no geographical boundaries.
