Dance as a bridge between cultures
Babel Danse was born in 2003 within the MJC du Plateau in Saint-Brieuc. The festival carries an original artistic and cultural project: to use contemporary dance as a bridge between cultures, exploring a different theme or geographical area each year.
A thematic choreographic journey
Each edition of Babel Danse offers a choreographic journey around a theme or culture: the Caribbean in 2014, the colors of India and the world in 2015, and many other artistic destinations over the years. This thematic approach allows for the cross-pollination of traditional dances and contemporary creation, offering the public rich and surprising performances.
Performances, workshops, and meetings
