Street art conquers Saint-Brieuc

The Shake Art Festival is an international event dedicated to street art and muralism, which has been taking over the streets of Saint-Brieuc since 2023. Designed in resonance with the European Heritage Days, the festival highlights the dialogue between the city's historical heritage and contemporary creation.

Monumental murals in the city

Each edition sees international artists create monumental murals on the walls of Saint-Brieuc, permanently transforming the urban landscape. The festival thus contributes to making Saint-Brieuc a true open-air street art gallery, with a route of permanent works in the city.

A bridge between neighborhoods

Shake Art Festival aims to create an artistic and social bridge between the historic hyper-center and the peripheral neighborhoods, through ambitious artistic interventions and local cultural actions. The program is designed to be participatory and inclusive, involving residents in the creative process.

A festival linked to heritage

Held every year in September, the festival is part of the European Heritage Days, creating an original dialogue between architectural heritage and contemporary urban art.
