Erquy en Scène

A cultural season driven by volunteers

Erquy en Scène is an association of volunteers whose objective is to promote culture in the town of Erquy through live performance. From September to May, the association programs 6 to 8 professional shows at L'Ancre des Mots, the town's performance venue, in various genres: French chanson, theater, dance, music, and humor.

French chanson in the spotlight

While the programming is eclectic, Erquy en Scène gives a special place to French chanson. Each season features one or more concerts highlighting recognized singer-songwriters or artists from the new French scene. The intimate format of L'Ancre des Mots allows for rare proximity between artists and the public, creating authentic moments of sharing.

L'Ancre des Mots, Erquy's cultural gem

L'Ancre des Mots is Erquy's performance venue, located in the town center. With its capacity suited for intimate performances, it offers a warm setting for shows. After each performance, spectators are invited to meet the artists over a drink, a special moment that is the signature of Erquy en Scène.
