Emerging music festival in Saint-Malo
Baisers Iodés, formerly known as Baisers Volés as a nod to the François Truffaut film, is an emerging music festival held in Saint-Malo, a corsair city in Ille-et-Vilaine. As the event takes place by the sea, the stolen kisses have taken on the taste of sea spray, hence the new name Baisers Iodés.
The festival is organized by La Nouvelle Vague, an emblematic venue in the corsair city dedicated to contemporary music. The promise remains the same: emerging artists, pop artists, artists who represent the French-speaking scene of today and tomorrow, artists who renew our love for music with surprises.
Each edition offers a rich program mixing pop, electro, and French chanson. The festival also offers a free preview in Cancale, at the Théâtre de verdure overlooking the bay and its oyster farms with a breathtaking view of Mont-Saint-Michel.
Baisers Iodés benefits from an exceptional setting in Saint-Malo, offering festival-goers a unique experience combining musical discoveries and a maritime atmosphere. The festival captivates the audience from the first note on stage.
The 2026 edition of Baisers Iodés takes place on Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26, 2026, at La Nouvelle Vague in Saint-Malo. This emerging music festival highlights the current French-speaking scene with a dozen pop and emerging artists and groups, including Bilal Hassani and Kiddy Smile as Friday's headliners, Sam Sauvage and Camille Yembe on Saturday.
