About Dahlia and Garden Festival
The Festival des Dahlias et des Jardins takes place every year at the Campus Métiers Nature in Coutances, located at La Quibouquière, the city's agricultural and horticultural training center. Since 1995, students have showcased a dahlia collection that now features nearly 450 varieties across more than a hectare, including some developed by the school itself.
Each edition features a garden design competition: student classes each create a plot based on a new theme, and visitors vote for their favorite. A picking area is also available, allowing you to take home a bouquet arranged on-site.
Dahlia and Garden Festival — edition 2026
The 31st edition opens its floral paths from August 29th to September 27th, 2026. This year's garden competition pays tribute to Claude Monet: students from the school are creating plots inspired by the impressionist painter's world, which will be open to visitor voting.
