Via Aeterna is the musical festival of Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay, in Manche (Normandy). Via Aeterna is a sacred and spiritual music festival that takes place every autumn in the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, in Manche (Normandy). Created in 2017 and supported by the Musiques et Festivals structure, it invites the public on an itinerant musical journey through the religious buildings and heritage sites of the bay.
The program brings together around thirty concerts spread across about ten communes: Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey, La Lucerne-d'Outremer Abbey, churches and the theatre of Avranches, as well as Genêts, Carolles, Pontorson, Granville, Cancale, Saint-Pair-sur-Mer or Val-Couesnon. Sacred chants, baroque music, polyphonies and contemporary creations resonate in exceptional settings.

Around thirty sacred and spiritual music concerts are held in the bay's heritage sites, under the artistic direction of Laetitia Corcelle, before the grand closing day at Mont-Saint-Michel.
For its 2026 edition, Via Aeterna presents around thirty concerts from September 13 to October 4, 2026, in the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel (Manche). Under the artistic direction of Laetitia Corcelle, the program blends baroque music, sacred chants, polyphonies, and new creations, in heritage settings: Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey, Lucerne-d'Outremer Abbey, churches and theaters in Avranches, Granville, Pontorson, Cancale, or Saint-Pair-sur-Mer.
The opening concert brings together accordionist Félicien Brut and the Orchestre de l'Opéra de Normandie Rouen at Mont-Saint-Michel. The closing day on October 4 features several concerts in the abbey, including Le Poème Harmonique for Vivaldi's Nisi Dominus.
