Dangereuses Lectrices is a feminist literature festival held in Rennes, at the Antipode. The event positions itself as a space for promoting feminist writings and voices, and believes in writing and reading as fundamentally emancipatory activities for everyone.

An engaged program

Each edition features conferences, round tables, workshops, book signings, and performances around a specific theme. For its 7th edition in 2025, the festival explored reflections on age with the theme "Young bitches, old skins".

Intersectionality and inclusion

The festival claims the intersectionality of struggles and pays particular attention to the representation of LGBTQIA+, racialized, disabled, and precarious individuals. This inclusive approach makes Dangereuses Lectrices a unique event in the French literary landscape.
